The Welch vs Gary

Barrel Bowl 2019

The Welch vs Gary Barrel Bowl was formed to raise money to give back to McDowell County, home of the infamous football rivalry between Welch and Gary High Schools. Each year, the teams competed to bring the Barrel back to the school. Now it continues today on the golf course.

The Welch vs Gary Barrel Bowl,

August 1st & 2nd, 2019

The Welch vs Gary Barrel Bowl Golf Tournament is an annual fundraiser that benefits McDowell County, West Virginia while honoring an old high school tradition. Welch and Gary High Schools competed each year in a football game to see who could take the “Barrel” home, a beer barrel that was repainted by the opposing teams since 1939.

Each year, monies raised go to Mount View High School athletics as well as two other eligible organizations, with $50,000 dollars being raised already. No matter which side you’re on, McDowell County wins.

King’s Avenue

It all started when…

Clinton Collins ran into the Dive Crew during production of stageplay “The Terror of the Tug” and he was hoping to make a music video. “King’s Avenue” is the result of this meeting of minds.

A  TUESDAY  IN  ABSENTIA

Introducing prominent figures in the Absentia series, A Tuesday in Absentia follows Sam Tate trying to hold his relationship with Tuesday Swain together, while both of them work to raise Sam's little cousin, Teddy Tate. It's all going according to plan, but then there's Deputy Sheriff Memphis Swain.

A Tuesday in Absentia was the first film made at Dive Productions with a tiny budget and inexperienced crew. Growing up deep in the mountains of West Virginia, we learn by doing so that's what we did. It was a wonderful time and learning experience for us all, serving as a great foundation to improve upon.
